Identification

The only Gecko in the Galapagos with a smooth tail and expanded didgital disks.

Description

Individuals vary greatly in coloration, from overall pale yellow to brownish with light brown patterning.

Found around human settlements on the Galapagos, namely Puerto Ayora, Puerto Bacquerizo Moreno, Puerto Villamil, Baltra airport, Bellavista and Puerto Velasco Ibarra.

Global Distribution

Native to SE Asia and introduced in the Americas, Australia and a number tropical islands around the globe.
